Very dumb how you think over 25 isn't considered this gen when future and Rick ross were both in their 30s even before the peak of their careers in the 2010s and considered part of that era
It's not about the age it's about when you debut is what makes you part of a gen, just like how some others itt mentioned Veeze is a modern era Rapper as well
Kenny Mason, Samara Cyn, Serious Klein, Mavi, Ovrkast, Matt Proxy, La Reezy etc.
I also think a lot of us are more tapped in than ever. I knew who Chris Patrick was in 2017/18 but he really didn't "breakout" until that Kai stream freestyle last year
Freddie Gibbs is a great example of a rapper who never really hit massive mainstream success and his name been around 15 years but over time made himself a rap staple

They're putting out music. Why do I care about the commercial performance of guys who aren't pop stars? I listen to rappers who never made any money
there will always be an appreciation for lyricism in hip hop. that just cant be the end all be all anymore. If you are an artist who can rap his or her ass off, then you better be able to make some good ass music too. Not just some rappity rap s***. If you plan on sticking around at least...
Only person I can even name who's doing s*** I want is Aaron May who's almost 25 now.

Ya got to accept that artists under 25 with any type of motion aren't the norm no more. Especially lyrical rappers on top of that. Plenty reasons why that is
this s*** was mad uninteresting not gonna lie
Thats tuff
Thats tuff
idk it just sounds like s*** I’ve heard before, like what Yachty was doing on the RD era on SoundCloud lol on the birthday mixes. I feel like niggas are inclined to like that cause it’s MIKE and Earl but I’m sure the project has more than just that
this is not rappity rap
they dont even know what that is anymore
