Literally no one ever talks about these songs and it’s practically half the album, they’re just not as good as the first half songs, and it’s always made me wonder why people rank this album so high
I’d take the bonus tracks alone off LIG over these songs
That’s brings another point to LIG, the bonus tracks really elevate the album a step further

None of them are bad tracks but I get what you’re saying. Personally though I love all of them

I agree, not bad tracks just kinda mid for Nas standards. I like to wonder how his discog would turn out if I Am….Nastradsmus never leaked. Most songs eventually landed on The Lost Tapes which is a classic on its own but would be cool to see some of these tracks on other albums like they may have been in an alternate timelime
This project has a special place in my heart

The Flyest another great Nas and AZ collab.
Destroy & Rebuild, What Goes Around, and Every Ghetto are also good tracks. S***, I'd say What Goes Around aged very well due to what he's rapping about. Even if I don't agree with the anti-vax messages, every thing else he's describing is very relevant in today's day and age.
Crazy hype when this dropped

"Life is short" is what some nigga said. Not if you measure life by how one lives and what he did

Pop another bottle and keep the smoke rolling
