I still prefer Wayne, Nas, Jay, Pac, and Biggie over him as rappers. And I'm a bigger fan of the discographies of Kanye, Outkast, Ghostface, and Doom.
But he checks off enough boxes for him to be considered "the GOAT." So, it's really all about preference.

Kendrick is the greatest of all time because of the era he was king in. He had an influx of genres to combat, a mega pop star rapper as his competition, the fading legacies of Jay's em and lupe hung over him , they wouldn't go down without a fight . Hove came around with 4:44, ye dropped mbdtf and lu came with Tetsuo. So much variety. The lyrical heads wanted something lyrical from him, the pop fans wanted something easy going from him. For him to be even considered the goat of this generation is a crazy statement. Bro kept it him too, took his time and exceed expectations, or went left field when he wanted to.
After this clinic of a beef, I need one classic album from him, and a slew of mixtapes, otherwise he's really him
