People confused why this song is doing such big numbers when songs like pushin P and what not seem bigger in the culture overall are missing the point. There's a huge demographic that isn't plugged into the culture, but a white rapper who has a sexy, catchy hook like this - yeah that will go beyond the normal hip hop demographic.
Lil baby is bigger in the hip hop world, but Jack has managed to tap into a larger demographic past it. We'll see if it goes past this song (assuming he doesn't have more songs with viral potential like this)
If Jack actually catches some real commercial momentum, he'll be hard to beat because even if gets exposed as a racist, the Morgan Wallen effect will just kick in and the momentum will continue.
Nobody is angry. I don’t have a problem with Jack or his music. I’m just calling it how I see it.
That album cover s*** was clearly a strategic move by his team. The first in a long series of chess moves.
Y’all think any slightly negative observation (not even intended that way) is hating
You're trying to turn Jack's strategic moves to be like they're negative. Nobody is stopping Lil Baby from making strategic moves too. That's what you're supposed to do.

Sexy?

I’m not saying it’s a negative. I’m just calling it like it is. If y’all think it reflects negatively on him that’s yall
I pray Jack becomes the biggest rapper in the game to shut y’all up man
Why would you wish such horrors on us smh

You literally called it a negative observation in your post lol
Serious question, what’s wrong with marketing a white rapper to black people?
Jack has always been hanging around black folk that’s been in his music videos for years
You’re just angry at him for being successful because you don’t think a white man deserves to be in that spot @02Shaq
You’re just assuming things about me and you’re entirely wrong.
I have no issue with white rappers. I’m a yeat fan, a Weiland fan, a post Malone fan, action Bronson, Mac Miller is an all time favorite, etc. and a few others I’m probably leaving off
Why would you wish such horrors on us smh
Yeah, Jack won't become the biggest rapper but he can become bigger than Lil Baby.

marketing is the devil
these users are legit stupid

Pushin P meme hit literally every demo lol.
Every white celeb and even Fortune 500 companies were using it. Also Jack didn’t do anything but used something that already worked
There’s nothing wrong w marketing but don’t try to put rappers that are made in a board room above real niggas that’s making real music.
I’m saying y’all are perceiving it as negative
The only time you bring it up in negative contexts. I never once even thought about the album cover like that it’s just a very normal album cover to me, signing autographs in a car. Didn’t notice the demographics of kids until you pointed it out as being some psychological marketing technique to make black folk listen to his music
You also didnt answer my question
baby not the hottest rapper out tho yall be goin off emotion and not numbers
The numbers say lil baby album from 2 years ago is outselling most rappers albums from this year
There’s nothing wrong w marketing but don’t try to put rappers that are made in a board room above real niggas that’s making real music.
Lil Baby was literally created in a board room man
Be honest if Jack had the SAME exact come up story as Lil Baby and say… Logic found him on the street and said “I’m gonna sign you and teach you to rap” would you be keeping this same energy?

What question. You’re firing comments at me every other minute lol
Jack: been rapping since middle school, dropping projects for almost a decade and didn’t pop off until 6 years deep in his pro career
Baby: signed immediately by Young Thug, kicked off his career with a Drake feature
Lets be honest with ourselves here…

So what you're saying is Harlow was ass for 8 years and Baby was good after 1 and a half?

Who told you Lil Baby doesn't have board room meetings with his own label as well?
Why is it wrong to market a white rapper to black people?
White rappers don’t get taken serious unless they can capture a sizeable black audience. It’s not wrong but as a black person you could feel the pandering when SOME of these artists. Not all but some
So what you're saying is Harlow was ass for 8 years and Baby was good after 1 and a half?
Sure if that’s how you want to look at it. Just don’t try and say Jack is a manufactured plant or something and Lil Baby has this authentic rags to riches come up story
Lil Baby was literally created in a board room man

@02Shaq clearly hates white people.
