"greatest" album
No weak songs, replayable af, insane production, best execution of a concept he’s done since HoB. 10/10

Thursday, EOS, Kissland, BBTM, After Hours, MDM, HUT all better
1. HOB
2. KL
3. Thursday
Then y'all can discuss the rest
I think nostalgia has you wrapped up.
HOB probably dropped during a special time in your life, so the feels attached to that can't ever be duplicated.
You're not looking at this objectively

Seriously how do people even rate BBTM over Dawn i get that BBTM has some iconic joints on there but the sequencing sucks so hard imo
All the bangers are in the first half and the 2nd half is just one big meh

I don’t get it either. BBTM has the worst songs of his career on it, and is just a jumbled mess of an album.
I feel like some people just don’t care for whether or not an album follows a theme or is cohesive, they just look for banger songs they can add to their playlist.

I agree that it's basically just a bunch of songs put together and does have some of his worst songs on there. I wasn't a die hard fan til later but I don't think BBTM was intended to be thematic or have a concept/story to it. Correct me if I'm wrong.
If an album is intended to be a a concept/story sure, but not every album is intended that way otherwise there'd be very few albums that you like right?
Also I've always kind of rated albums based on the amount and quality of the songs I like on there. Dawn has a concept, but I'm not a fan of any of the songs. BBTM has some of my all time favorite songs on there which to me makes up for the s*** ones on there for me. Also I hated BBTM at first because it was straight Pop, but once I got passed the shock a lot of the songs grew on me and ended up being some of my favorites
So it is what it is, just opinions at the end of the day lol

HOB is objectively better lol
HUT cracks the 5/6 for sure

I feel you but i don’t necessarily care if BBTM isn’t concept driven the sequencing of the tracklist as is just feels all over the place and it always trips me up because it just doesn’t really flow that well imo
Dawn FM tho seriously idk how much you’ve actively sat with it but no songs that stick is crazy fam
Less Than Zero
Take My Breath
Is There Someone Else
Out of Time
Sacrifice
I could honestly just name pretty much the whole tracklist it’s full of slappers to me
1 - Dawn FM
2 - After Hours
3 - House of Balloons
4 - Hurry Up Tomorrow
5 - Echoes of Silence
6 - Starboy
7 - My Dear Melancholy
8 - Beauty Behind the Madness
9 - Thursday
10 - Kiss Land
I already know people gonna be fuming at Kiss Land being last, i do like it but i go back to it the least for some reason
Also this order changes a lot depending on mood. Top 3 is pretty much set, but 4-6 will swap places a lot just as 7-9 will. Don’t have any faith in Kiss Land not being my least fav Weeknd album anytime soon although i respect the ideas he had for this album
I don’t follow what makes this a trilogy? Did we know he’s making another trilogy the whole time
Cohesive narrative.
Can we just like songs again?
We have evolved from that its okay

Nah, Abel's music just became generic as f***
