If there's one rap artist whose discog can be pitted against the musical greats of old it's Kanye. I don't ask you to agree and it has nothing to do with Prince and who's better but I'm pretty sure that many folks trying to look at this thread as blasphemous don't listen to Prince like that and suffer from internalized disrespect for Hip-Hop. We've been told for ages that Hip-Hop is musically inferior and you guys subconsciously believe that. It's not an "awful take" to put Kanye's discog up against any artist.
