There’s literally nothing similar about them other than they’re both from the U.K.
Lol, come on now. Sampha wouldn't be here without self-titled
Such a banger
Maybach O is f***ing fire
Omarion is a very talented singer and dancer, unfortunately not many people take him seriously because of some of his antics with his dancing
His recent rendition of Lovely Day quite solid too

This s*** been dead since 808s & Drake came out
808s and Heartbreaks had GREAT production though my g.
Let's keep it a stack, we've always had "ok" singers even back in the days. The production has taken a nosedive on a lot of R&B acts.
And to be honest, one day we gonna have a discussion on how Chris Brown lowkey ruined R&B. :word:
Hate that you used Selena as an example when she's so painfully bland, but overall your point still stands.

see, people did come through with actual good singers
thread has been lit, seeing that in most instances people prefer unique voices rather than powerhouse voices which is what I was thinking initially since opinion is so varied artist to artist

Literally the only one from B2K that could actually sing. That song association video was hard to watch
ok this great
You a star, you a diva babe, a living legend
Down to earth like Issa Rae even though you're from Heaven
We be laughin' all day
We drinkin', we f***in', and got good tree on the way
Good smokin', good munchin', got Uber Eats on the way
Lloyd pretty underrated as a singer too

The focus has definitely shifted towards more distinct voices with emotion, that is also sung in a way not littered by numerous riffs and runs so the listener can sing along.

He could have went with hope sandoval
tbh only listened to the first minute
BJ grew up church choir singing. If it's one thing church choir singers know, it's range forreal
He could have went with hope sandoval

curlyheadedblackboy Although I never met you, I will never forget you. And in case I did I bet you, would already know I think you're special. Foolish pride inside would say "be cool, dont sweat dude". Knowing that what I really want to ask if for your help dude. In the most musically driven way I felt you, through crazy guitar rifts that could melt you. What a beautiful hand God dealt you. To match the unique voice to belt through. .. This was an amazing time to be alive and have gone along for this ride. I wish I could make purple, without the blue I feel inside.. May your spirit Live 4ever now ride into the sky may you ride. Ole purple one. . #Prince
He said this about Prince when he passed away
I'll never forget this beautiful write up
