Eminem is an all time GOAT but you really can’t group anyone else with him as far as how unlistenable he became relative to his peak. I get the OPs point about how Drake’s fans will just make anything he drops go #1 even if it’s not good, but he doesn’t drop anything as bad as Eminem. And this is coming from someone who hates Drake Stan’s more than any musical fanbase.

Drake is much more of a crowd pleaser musically than Em so no.

Eminem is a risk taker to his own detriment. He tries hard to either sound very technical in his raps or making these absurd concept records that he often prioritizes more than how good the music sounds.

Drake is a populist. He makes sure to make even his most uninspired and laziest s*** sound pleasant to the masses. He's like the male Rihanna in that regard. Even Rihanna's worst songs sound pleasant enough to tolerate. Whereas someone like Charli XCX will have songs that will make people say "Wtf is this s***?!!"

The only parallel I see between them is how they're often the gateway d*** to rap for White and international audiences who aren't normally into rap and how their stans sometimes use sales alone to argue for their GOAT cases.
