  • Idk. I think he made certain stylistic choices that makes you feel like he can’t sing anymore. Like how he uses more autotune now. But he does still have really good moments here and there that aren’t drowned in autotune like Bahamas Promises or Virginia Beach for example

    Something changed during the FATD era for me. Aside from Bahamas Promises, Tried Our Best & Polar Opposites i’m not feeling his R&B cuts as much.

  • there are some songs where he sounds as good as ever, which makes me thing the over autotune on other tracks is either a choice or just not a great day vocally in the studio. i'd say choice, because he could always re-record

    He’s not a trained singer that smokes hookah often and vocal focus he practices isn’t primarily singing. his vocal cords are fried cause his barrier for control is pretty low. I don’t think it has anything to do with time as everyone is different. I think he’s just throwing too much at himself and not taking any time to care about singing techniques and that’s why it sounds different

    He actually did get training between IYRTITL and Views time but that was ten years ago

    yea I don’t think he cares about practicing anymore especially since he don’t even write either. think he’s more concerned with melodies and going in and out of different ranges

    Iceman writing credits were whoever the vocalists were along with producers and sampled voices I don’t think he was having whole verses penned for him

    oh nah I don’t think he even has writers, he don’t need them at this point. I think he’s in like a freestyle mode and maybe writes down his crazy bars in his notes lmao

    I mean I don't tbh. I still think he could perform this song exactly the way it sounds right now. He just uses a lot more autotune now, its just a stylistic choice.
