Worth watching for Mark Jenkin's voice. Such a lyrical filmmaker. The 16mm is beautiful. George Mackay delivers a good performance. I just found it kind of congested. The stilted dreamlike quality wasn't doing much for me.

Powell's actually been multiple notable films though and even his romcom was a smash. Think his problem boils down more to the projects he chooses. People went completely overboard with the Cruise comparisons too he never needed to force the sole leading guy stuff.
What does Turner even do to warrant any of this noise? A couple interesting but kinda meh projects?

Not hating on him but dating and marrying Dua Lipa did wonders for his star power. Not sure we'd be talking about him otherwise.
