I liked see out loud a lot but yeah these songs aren’t all timers

Doesn’t mean they aren’t solid, I always just look for good music from continuing legacy acts I don’t think it’s really possible to recreate a moment in time like that when your classics are two decades old at this point

Turn on the Bright Lights has always been a massively overrated snoozefest to me and that’s supposed to be their magnum opus so I probably won’t get around to this for quite sometime

it's really good imo i haven't enjoyed a full project by them since Our love to admire (thought El Pintor was alright but very safe). it's super fun but also some of these songs feel like new territory whole band sounds revitalized even Paul is sounding great

The dude from The Walkmen is now their touring drummer.
