Yea ive been hearing that about antipsychotics, im on 2 rn and my doctor wants me to come off but she says i cant do that till im stable while sober, which kinda makes sense ig, im moving on in life and i probably need to be sober anyways

He's talking about Prozac with the placebo specifically, and some older types of anti psychotics are known as neurotoxic. They aren't general or first line treatments for that reason, anti psychotics include multiple different types. There are also multiple types of primary anti depressants like ssri, snri, tricyclic, etc.

I've noticed ssris and snris even have different effects on me. But I'm bipolar and trying them was what helped me get that diagnosis and move to anti psychs and stabilizers instead
