@op not spend the money, save it for when the landlord does come to collect.
Manage your money and specifically put aside a set amount for saving and investment purposes so you aren't risking a roof over your head for the sake of making a few extra bucks.
Investing is a long term game, if you want solid return invest in a mutual fund that has proven returns.
The market is due to crash soon so genuinely hold out until it drops and then invest when it's low.

To all my KTT2 sleuths, help your breedha out. Imagine your rent is $500 every month but suddenly you don’t need to pay it any longer whilst still living there. What would you do with the surplus cash to make it grow as fast as possible? I have recently lucked in to such a situation but I have been pissing it away on meme coins.
Critical info: I have no idea how long this will last, but it has been 4 months now. I’ve been moving with no sense of urgency during these months but I now feel like I could potentially fumble a major bag (generational wealth possibly) if it suddenly stops.

Been lurking KTT for years now and some idiots still amaze me with their stupidity still. Read OP again dumb dumb with operative word being “imagine”. I have a surplus of cash each month of 500$. This is outside of my regular salary and yes I do save cash every month. Since this was never intended for me nor calculated in the monthly budget why not try something high stakes with it was my thinking, net zero if I lose it. Instead of pissing and moaning how about you generate some ideas. TSLA calls to the moon?
