I don't think the artists are getting younger. I think the subject matter has. Back in the day it was cool to act older/more mature than your age, like u have more wisdom/game than your peers and because of that older folks should take u more seriously. Now the young rappers are acting more their age and only rap about the material/surface level s*** regarding being grown (fucking hoes, taking trips, getting money, and just being young and lit)
