It’s just become a different thing. They’re firing on all cylinders and I think it’ll be the tightest most well executed and well crafted season of industry from episodes 1 to 8

But I think if you are absolutely attached and wanting that quintessential encapsulation of Industry feeling thing, S2 or S3 might be peak industry for a lot of people.

But they’ve taken big swings this season with new characters, ditching the busy investment banking trading floor settings and are now expanding into Russian oligarchs, shady journalists, Epstein type exploitation hierarchies, taking the characters ethics and pathologies all to really interesting places. It’s also a bit more flashy and sophisticated direction and tone wise this season. A lot of the direction has more of a flare, the needle drops and title drops are more assured and artsy, they’re doing interesting things with framing devices and weirder s*** like Henry’s ghost dad at the old timey dress up rich people party.

The only reason why i'm doubting that this is the last season:

• They have closed the loops on all the main characters except Yas and Harp - and i doubt you can successfully close it in 2 eps
• Usually they will advertise a final season as final and they didnt
• Mickey and Konrad signed a 2 or 3 year deal with HBO last year, which seemed to indicate that they had at least 2 more seasons of the show

This really could end up as the greatest show of the 20s lowkey.

Haven't watched past ep 2 of the new szn but now thats Eric is gone I don't even feel like watching anymore man wtf.
