The scene with Rishi's wife getting blicked is etched into my brain. Very few things this year have made my jaw drop like that.

Some people are gonna say this was the wrong move for the show but its really the complete opposite. Consequences for Rishi's lifestyle needed to be shown, and it sets the tone perfectly for the rest of the show.

also Rishi is a single father now which is f***ing mind-bending to think about considering how much of a mess he was before this happened

It was a bit much… just in my opinion… the loanshark could’ve just slapped or beaten her and it would’ve had the same “meaning” without being so “extreme”

So was Yas assaulted by her father or did her father offer her up to his friends? That scene where he was pinning her down and threw wine in her face was really uncomfortable then, but even worse now.
