the financial s*** was hard to follow in season 1 but since we got to know the characters more its been flowing well for me
Very true. I tried to watch without making the succession comparisons. But I'm not gonna hate if they wanna add some dimension to the shows lack of "personality". They've got a good thing laid out early in this season, hope they can make me stick around.
no don't leave
but what exactly isn't connecting with u

Off rip, just one example - harper would have a big reaction when her brother was mentioned, when she finds him in Europe you're expecting to understand the dynamic of that relationship, or at least get an understanding of why she is how she is. You don't get any of that, meth isn't flashy enought to carry the scene, and it didn't offer much.
this yung nigga has sonned Eric in every scene they in

I feel like this is more that you came in wanting answers the show wasn't interested in tho
You're "expecting" to understand the dynamic of characters that hadn't seen each other for years and are on cold terms. Her brother is verry different than she remembers and its made clear that Harpers understanding of him when they were younger was grossly separated from his reality. They likely had more of a superficial relationship that was complicated worse by their mom, and Harper may have contributed to his abuse as well. Her even forcing contact directly led to the end of his sobriety and a mental breakdown when Harper leaves Berlin.
There's a similar thread between Rob, Yas and Harper and their childhoods/parents and i dont think the point was to get every answer. Rob's story with his father (also broke sobriety) happened that same episode and we didn't get everything there either
ashkaash is gonna be in the next episode somehow as herself🤣🤣
we ready gang
Tonight
didn’t realize my boy Gus was in Alien
yeah that's part of why he's not there anymore. He can fill his schedule outside of the show now
