I absolutely love "Lost In The World". The entire vibe of that song is just immaculate.
One of my all time favorite Kanye songs.
The first experience of hearing that in the final scene of the Runaway film was amazing
But ive kind of always felt like the released song itself doesn’t live up to that moment for me after the dust settled. The vibe is there but I don’t think it was executed on the level of DIAND or Runaway
The fact that he was able to make a banger in the stomp clap hey genre is a testament to his artistry
makes sense why Kanye gained so many white hipster fans who would eventually move to Bushwick after MBDTF
real
What kinda stomp clap hey song goes right into a Gil Scott Heron breakdown
This too
No it isn't.
But I've been rewatching Girls. 2010s millennial hipster culture was dope. Certainly s***s on whatever's going on in 2025. People can get their jokes off though, I'm not mad at it.

you say this as if the guy who made the song didn’t do a hard pivot into claiming slavery was a choice & praising hitler less than a decade later

I don't think this actually fits the bill as stomp clap hey music... there's a certain tempo and rhythm to stomp clap hey music, with a sort of a call & response thing going on

Jeff Bhasker produced We Are Young by Fun. which also isn't really stomp clap hey music but is definitely stomp clap hey adjacent so this kinda makes sense lol
Lost In The World really just sounds like slow Jersey Club to me tho
u not lying lol also tonight was supposed to be they song
