hell no ! but i think if we’re going to / already live in a global world, then it’s imperative we rid ourselves of white supremacy.
it’s still so ingrained into the culture of countries all over. from the colorism that dictates social hierarchy in caribbean and spanish countries, to the immigration situation in europe, racism is alive and well everywhere.
we convinced ourselves it’s “innate” to the human condition but it’s really... not. and it’s kinda weird to think of racism as anything less than archaic. it’s barbaric really.
humans understand through stereotypes and inequality is apart of life, yes. but we’re never going to achieve anything if we can’t even all agree that every human is human bro.

MangoRealize that most of the country doesn't even vote, and that more than half of the ones that do are democrats, and the radical grass roots element in that ring wing is a fraction of a fraction and relatively unsophisticated. The ones who are going to do more than post on Facebook are apparently in a vast minority. They all think Trump was literally robbed of the election, and they couldn't muster more than a couple thousand to do anything about it! Then they didn't do much about it even with it likely rigged in their favor!
The military and capital interests and such want the status quo to continue for eternity. If you're already aware of the prevalent evils they carry out, which you should be, then this event becomes a footnote.
I personally think you should join a local org, do mutual aid, arm yourself, read some books, etc. At least you'll feel like your politics are real.
