Like I see people come in and spend an hour doing this spending at least 100 bucks every day
And then after doing that for three days they will be happy if they win 100 or 200 off one like u still lost
"that's the way she goes bubs"

I've won $100 twice off scratch offs I received on Christmas. Wouldn't go out of my way to get them for myself, but they do make cheap gifts and ya never know

Sure buy one every once in a while if you feel lucky that doesn't matter
But like when they is a habit it's just bad and a waste
You don't win money
I see people buy them all day, coming in and out with scratch offs and trading them in for more
It's dumb
so u work at a 711?
U can scan em w/o scratching

Well sure yeah I mean at the end of the day it is a gambling addiction. Scratch offs and lotto tickets are equivalent to gateway d****, and it's very easy to get trapped by them. Spend a dollar on a scratch off and you win $2K? Yeah that might be what it takes to get people caught on them
Even Mr Beast proved that you don't win s*** from them
!https://youtu.be/5V2B28OqfqMI've never clicked on a Mr. Beast video before, don't even know what that dude sounds like. I think I wanna keep it that way.
Not really surprising considering how expensive concerts and movies have become
Not even sure why books is in this tally; Americans don’t read and those who do use the library
Yeah because a majority of the population are looking to get above their means and unfortunately the temptation is real for an overnight change
Anything for a chance to crawl out of the dreadful existence that is low or lower middle class
Most people are one missed paycheck away from bankruptcy, so I see why it’s so tempting to buy in for a chance to change your circumstances entirely.
To most people, those few dollars sacrificed each week on a lottery ticket weren’t going to change their circumstances meaningfully.
People will spend 75k on scratch offs, win 5k one time and act like they are huge winners
I never liked the thought of one party (the company) getting a guaranteed benefit, and the other (the gambler) getting the chance to benefit. F*** gambling
American life is hell
