It's better to keep pandering to the lowest common denominator making the illusion that the generic s*** is good and is all that is available

Rather than support genre redefining artists who will make tastes evolve thus requiring other artists and fans to adapt

Very good point tbh. The safe bet never pushes the envelope and we don’t have today’s safe bets pushing it themselves with the platform they have. That’s why I wish H,N was more successful. That could’ve been the start of an entire wave if executed correctly.

Album has a rendition of Love Is Everywhere by Pharoah Sanders (highly recommend listening to him as well) that I think is outstanding
