Tbh it's not even that bad, i mean first of all Common is just damn good at rapping, but the album is really inconsistent, uninspired at times, and second half is definetely better than the first. I definetely see the thing with Pharell's leftovers too. Stuff like S***4 Suga is really not it really feels like a lazy take on that sound. Meanwhile songs like Gladiator, Changes are pretty good, and two outro ones are a cool vibe too. But overall this album kinda makes no sense to me.

Is it that bad? I think I liked some songs back in the day like the one with Popcaan

BRAIN - I'M BRAIN EP

Yeah so this one's worse just bc the whole thing about this EP is that it's all collabs between Lil D***y and his "Brain" who is a character from the song Pillow Talking, which is an annoying 10 minute yappery (not on this album).

This album is more of an excuse for Lil D***y to rap on modern beats and being able to do "mumble rap" as the Brain, as the Brain's voice is somewhat like a Young Thug type rapper, but it's high pitched and annoying. So when D***y is rapping it sounds fun but when it's the Brain it's pretty bad. Also goes hard into silly/goofy jokes like Rick and Morty or something/

For a joke comedy album it's not that bad and might make a friend laugh. And some of the songs are entertaining. But yeah the Brain shtick is a little annoying and cringe to me I will say this one's bad. But The Game's verse is pretty good.

Best: How Can U Sleep.

Worst: Whippin It, Brainstorm.

6IX9INE - TATTLETALES

So... this is unfortunate. Back in the day I listened to Day69 and Dummy Boy, they weren't good but they had a style to them and weren't that bad, had a couple of catchy songs. So I expected this album to kinda be the same and I expected most of the hate and low rating comes down to hating 6ix9ine's personality (which is understandable).

So it kicks off well enough with tracks reminiscent of 6ix9ine's original style (ignoring the weird Locked Up remix) and takes a nose dive when he deviates to making reggaeton FIFA music.

This might be a little unfair bc I don't like this type of music either way, but I think it's fair to say these songs are tacky and 6ix9ine is a bad vocalist. He's basically riding this wave bc some of his reggaeton songs were semi successful before and he doesn't have a lot of credibility of a rapper. But yeah none of these were fun to listen to and they sound outdated (this is a 2020 album). Also the "jail recording" songs are so badly mixed he should've scrapped them.

Also there were too ROUGH features on this album, Akon who somehow sounds bad. And Lil AK who was only there for a couple seconds and straight up ruined the vibe lol.

So yeah not a fun listening experience for me. Do not recommend.

Best: GOOBA, AVA.

Worst: NINI, YAYA, LEAH, GATA, GTL.
