This supported the finding that "Diaspora Jews from Europe, Northwest Africa, and the Near East resemble each other more closely than they resemble their non-Jewish neighbors." I always felt that saying anti-antisemitism isn't racism is just semantics, like yeah you could be targeting the religion rather than the people it spawned, but really what's the difference between those two words at that point

MangoThe holocaust was a specific goal within fascism, an ideology forged in the aftermath of WWI as Allied powers continued to plunder the Germany economy until an ethno-nationalist project backed by heavy industry rose to power in those terrible conditions. They rose to power on the back of this idea of an internal enemy, but Ukraine had been doing pogroms as well and their genocidal nationalists were split on working with under Germany. Italy defined its fascism as corporate power, and Germany blueprinted privatization of the economy.
So if you're looking for something distinct about Nazis, it's not they hated and killed Jewish people. It's not that they forged a mythology of their nation for reactionaries to cling to which deemed others unworthy) That was happening all over Europe long before. The Holocaust was just their newly scientific and industrial attempt at it.
Fascism and racism aren't mutually exclusive. While he may have thought he was protecting Germany interest he was also targeting multiple groups of people based off of race and a few other things.

Obviously any class project (heavy industry reclaiming the German economy for itself) has to market to its base with other branding. Not to say this is subconscious or disingenuous, but the Nazis targeted class enemies like socialists and communists and unionists right alongside the Jews and gypsies and other peoples who didn't fit their Darwinist rubric. They cobbled together all of that Holy Roman Empire stuff on the fly.
Defining the entire Nazi project by the Holocaust is just obfuscation. You wouldn't have seen any of that without the material devastation and trauma of WWI then its fallout as Allies plundered the economy. The racialist explanation is so narrow. Pogroms on Jews, bigotry against minorities, bigotry against the disabled- common place in that time and space- the scale and methodology were the only things different in Germany. They generated a wartime economy and fought the most modern war and endeavored in the most modern genocide, and like Vietnam, it was disgusting and devastating.

We have existed as a modern day species for 10,000 years. Any evolution of “higher intelligence” could not have possibly occurred in such a short time frame especially considering the lifespan of the normal human. We have gone through only 400 or so generations in that timespan, which is essentially a bullshit amount in the evolutionary scale

Like if we really want to entertain this concept, do you really think a race like black people or Latin Americans are really inherently less intelligent and not academically deprived due to a history of colonization and exploitation ?
