A lot of artists fanbases where the artist themselves like Drake were hype to see him attacked cause their favorite artist wasnt getting enough Drake collabs.

My hot take is when you have a team as strong as Drake's, who's been with him since day 1.. You literally see everyone outside that as opps. They might get close to you, but they'll never be to you what OVO is to you.. but that might not be the reality for other artists.. Look at a Kanye today. I can never imagine that happening to Drake tbh.. so what they thought the relationship is, may not be what it is.. He already has that built in. I think that could rub people the wrong way over years.. I get the same vibe from rap press.. They act so entitled to the interviews.. I think they're missing that distribution is directly with the artist now.. and they're not entitled to s***. They're not "the culture" .. The culture is whoever I make the work for.. They're just in the middle and lowkey parasitic.. But you can see how this could rub a bunch of people the wrong way over decades

Quality vs Quantity argument. It's both for Drake.
The majority of Drake albums have all charted like 3 plus years.
I believe he is charting like 5-6 albums right now.
Also I couldn't pinpoint at what point or how much but at some point the type of numbers Drake has had, at length do matter.

Being on the charts does not equal quality.
