Nobody said it will outperform, but it is obviously and clearly a PR move, especially that this is the third time it’s playing out like this.

You are tripping if you think these superstar artists with literal machines behind them don’t make moves like this to adjust PR

Wasn’t her loss and honestly nevermind originally an idea as one album. I thought that got confirmed after these leaks.

drake stans developed severe mental health issues but most people liked the songs and probably moved on by now. I mean it's not like non-fans hold any significant sway in hip hop aside from providing sales. most ppl probably had fun and clowned on drake and then went back to the regular schedule

I know for a fact that Drake ain’t had a PR team for at least 6 years. If he actually wants good PR, he should start there. But I highly doubt he cares. He’s one of the few artists I feel like doesn’t care to make people like him lol

It’s his least streamed album ever lmao. And I would say Drake is both more loved and more hated than PND. The Rnb section of Drake fans will never stop loving him anyways so he gains nothing by choosing to do an rnb only album. If he really wanted to do a collab album to distract from the beef he would collab with a moderately popular hip hop artist, not his own artist who makes rnb music lol

    1. WATTBA is not his least streamed album ever. On Spotify, TML and So Far Gone are behind it, and Honestly, Nevermind isn’t too far ahead of it.

    2. Even Drake knows that dropping a rap focused project right now is not the move. Nobody wants to hear that s*** from him, the best move for him to make is to pivot and give people the traits that made him unique as an artist in the rap world, which is being able to sing and craft quality R&B/pop records

Never wished harm. Nice try tho. He just roasted them lmao. But when the roasts are that brutal I can see how a soft-hearted individual would see it as “wishing harm” so I get It

You know what's up, and those garlic shiitake green beans from Trader Joe's were pretty good and priced appropriately

Will remember this and respond back with a review in 5 weeks thanks crodie

Should’ve clarified it’s the least daily streamed album of his. If it’s so great why is nobody listening to it? IYRTITL has almost double the total streams and that’s a solo mixtape.

And you are overstating how much he cares about what other people want to hear.

Even when he won his beef with meek mill, he was still so bitter that he didn’t even want to rap on Views. That’s because he felt that way, not because of what other people did or didn’t want from him. Drake has always stayed true to his own artistry. If he’s disillusioned with rap, he won’t do it. But it’s not for the reasons you state.

He “doesn’t care to make people like him”, yet he’s spent the last 5-6 years cosplaying as a tough guy mobster to do exactly that

Idk how Drake has fooled y’all into thinking that he doesn’t care how the world perceives him. He’s shown us time and time again that he is one of the most sensitive artists on the planet

Yalls problem is you think everything he does is for your approval lmao he was soft and emotional when it wasn’t cool to be that and toughened up when he needed to. That’s what happens naturally when gangbangers are threatening you on a semi-regular basis. You are not as important as you think you are.

Just because he from the suburbs he can’t be competitive and confrontational? I don’t get y’all niggas man y’all think so small lol

I’m just gonna say this and then I’m done arguing with this bot.

Drake could retire RIGHT NOW, TODAY, and his legacy would still be cemented as one of the greatest hip hop artists to ever live, one of the most impactful rap and rnb artists ever and one of the most successful musical acts of all time. He would still hold the record for the most records charted in billboard history, he would still be the 2010s artist of the decade, he would still be tied with MJ for the most number 1s for a male soloist. He would still be the artist with the highest grossing hip hop tour of all time. He would still be involved in the 3 biggest hip hop beefs of the last 10 years. And he would most likely be the most talked about rapper even after retirement. Drake has literally nothing left to prove to anybody.

Right lmao dropping an Rnb album (that will NOT outperform a typical Drake album) is not going to help him. I think people need to realize Drake just makes music he wants to make, it’s not any more complicated than that. But now everything Drake does will be psychoanalyzed to hell

“Kendrick made him retire from rap 😂😂😂😂” takes gonna make me kill myself

It’s a pivot away. Nobody on planet Earth (besides Drake stans) wants to hear Drake rap right now. Releasing an R&B focused project will make some people remember why they fell in love with the dude’s music in the first place all those years ago

Nobody on earth wants to hear Drake rap? You joking?

There is competence and confrontational…. then there is pretending that you are a mob boss that gets people knocked off in real life. Those are two separate things.
