@YoungNastyShawty You think you could get him for an interview? He did one with BusyWorksBeats recently. S*** was GARBAGE tho
and not even on some "i wanna hear the tea" s***.
Ignore the title of this lmao

He did influence the soundscape and artists did acknowledge it before he came out so that’s all factual
But this part really puts things into perspective:
Other artists Working with him =/= making music that lasts
This doesn't take away from what I said or add to what you said initially

No Makonnen slander
Went to a Makonnen/Earl show back in 2014 at a college. Everyone showed up for Makonnen and left for Earl? Gotta hurt to have that flip on you
No Makonnen slander
you literally said it
he has no influence over anyone, he lived of sounding like someone hit his balls with a cricket bat
I love makonnen’s music personally, it really has this unfuckwittable energy when u get into it. I feel like if bro stayed in those indie circles he woulda been more appreciated. Hip hop wasn’t and still isn’t ready for a gay black dude making music that, at its peak, walks the line between outsider and pop. Signing to OVO and trying to fit in that space is what killed him imo
ktt1 was for sure on this mans jock in 2014-15
ilovemakonnen tape and drink more water 5 were hard
corny for trying to make it about him being gay 🤣🤣
he's literally known for being gay lmfao
