That too but I was really referencing something specific to black culture about this classist propaganda the bourgeois liberal black class spreads about working class blacks who aren’t in academia. It specifically started with the ish vs Marc Lamont hill debate on jbp

  • They’ll talk s*** about “barbershop talk” basically saying working class black men are uneducated

what debate? I know marc, we had to have a conversation on October 8th because he was still on that "attacking civilians" type time immediately afterward.

It started with a flat earth debate which I admit ish is ignorant af for saying the earth is flat and he made no sense but the liberals on socials take that as an opportunity to basically separate themselves from working class black men and say we’re all like ignorant hoteps or something. Like for one most black people are poor af so it’s not even that beneficial for them to go to academic and get into lifelong debt just so they can appease some bourgeois norms(I’m in college btw lol)
It’s just clearly classist rhetoric because they’re saying anyone who didn’t get a phd is a peon. Also these types of liberals usually aren’t of the black majority who come from poverty and actually experience systematic racism

it is worth it to go to college

Its not worth it for a poor person to go in tens of thousands worth of debt to not even be guaranteed a job. They should 100% just learn a trade and then maybe get a degree after youve saved some money

Are you or are you not aware of the massive assistance poor people can get to go college? I went to a 40k school for free with a combination of state and federal grants.
Also trade school does not guarantee you a job i don't even know why you said that. God forbid you never get a job in your trade and u have nothing to show for it not even a general education
Almost all the data shows that you make more money and are more successful long term if you go to college

State and federal grants? Put me on bro im in college. I get grants but still have a lot to pay back in loans. Also i dont know what u mean about not being guaranteed a job with a trade cause thats not what i see at all. Like for example if you get a cdl theres definitely hundreds of places who will hire u.
How does general education help u get a job?

I think it more depends on your state. Mine is really good about college for those in poverty but it's a newer system that is linked to living in certain cities.

One city has had a system for a long time that supposedly led to people going "just to party" but it always sounded like anti poor people propaganda to me (I've only been in this city like 2 times ever I don't know much about their system but gen xers are always the ones to b**** about it because it started in the 90s I believe).

Going for a degree with a career in mind is really key. Picking a trade can be as difficult, I tried a few and always got terrible pay and worse hours. There's not really a clear easy path anymore the way I look at either sides.

This is an example of the awful antiblack rhetoric popular amongst bourgeois black liberals. Hes basically saying south africans live in fear of white people, does he know the history of how they ended apartheid?
