The fact that several of the posters are not factoring in the GOP and Trump’s complacency in their criticism in this is proof enough who I have been arguing with.

Disenfranchised Trump voters on an Internet forum who don’t mind authoritarianism or to put it bluntly. Fascism.

    The double standard.

america is this planet's premier fascist state so the double standard would be for you to vote on one particular of the two duces just because one makes you feel good about yourself and allows your gay landlord to exploit you, when in reality they both serve the same apparatus that allows misery to spread thousands of miles away from your home

why do you think the world GDP has been increasing steadily post WWII and we had the least amount of big wars in recorded history my guy ? It's because of the security architecture that US built, and the world thrived from it. America is not perfect but calling it fascist is simply not true in any way. As for the war in Palestine, Trump is far worse than Biden in terms of atrocities that could happen, but imo Trump is better in foreign policy in global geopolitics.

I wonder what the people from South America, Africa, Cuba, two Koreas, Vietnam, Middle East and parts of Eastern Europe think about this 'security architecture' and who they'd say benefitted the most from it. I also wonder if there are countries that would provide, or maybe even be forced to provide cheap labor and products for certain areas of the world and if these countries really 'thrived from it' way you describe it

Oh s*** you wanna know what people think ? In Eastern Europe if it wasnt for US stopping some countries, certain countries were spraying bullets on civilian populations for years and commiting massive genocide. Bro US has hegemon energy for sure and they make mistakes and they have their own goals as any country should man that's life but you should pray to God that China or Russia isnt a big factor cuz you wouldnt even be able to write this s*** here and you'd know how important the United States is

Also for the other comment that you made " did countries thrive out of that ". Like in any private company bro you have employees that you fire, you have maybe some unintended consequences behind certain strategic decisions etc but the idea is that the company improves and puts numbers on the board. Imagine now if that company is the world and the CEO of that is the United States. That's how it is my man, the world is not all flowers, gotta make tough decisions it's not easy.

Face saving for the election and to be able to spin it so that they’re orchestrating the solution when they’re literally the fuel to the problem

After months of protest and shouting Genocide Joe and other elected officials down at every event about palestine

I gotta give it to them -- supporting the perpetrator of a genocide and standing on that business against the entire world while allowing 35k ppl to die only to then propose a month-long(!) ceasefire(!!) without ever addressing an actual issue and spinning it as a benevolent peacemaking initiative only delayed by 'the baddies' on top of it is some a1 swindling

at this point you cant even be mad, just amazed. knew its gonna be some morons swallowing this s*** hook line and sinker too

Because it's f***ing bullshit compared to the multiple attempts at a resolution supporting a ceasefire that came before it that have received support from basically everyone besides the US

the US resolution is just a repeat of the israeli regime's position that all prisoners be immediately released for a TEMPORARY 6 week ceasefire

This is just cover for the US and the Zionist entity and that really shows in how the media is pushing the rejection of the ceasefire as China and Russia acting in bad faith versus actually discussing what's actually in the resolution
