if you're familiar at all with his career you know he's constantly working on songs, as well as recording new songs til the last minute. he's been doing that his entire career and the last minute songs are sometimes the biggest songs on the album

the difference is now artists/labels have the ability to regularly update mixes

I’m sorry but when physicals were a thing, the album was done at least 2 weeks before being released. Compare the quality of Take Care and NWTS to this. Do the same thing with Yeezus to TLOP and you’ll see he obvious differences with both of them niggas releasing records.
