I used to love Travis so i’m not sure if it’s just part of getting older or what but I find myself constantly skipping most of his music in my library now. He still has some great music but the feeling around his sound just isn’t the same, ASTROWORLD was f***ing incredible at the time, I remember being blown away.

Now that UTOPIA has been out for some time i’ve realized it’s just not to his usual standard, most of his new s*** is levels below what he’s already made so it’s like, why would I listen to these when it’s not as good as s*** i’ve already heard from you? He was one of my favorite modern artists for a while but I fell off his music pretty drastically. Not to mention he constantly ruins good songs with his features lmaoo

I still appreciate him as an artist and the fact that he does try to evolve his sound with each project but something just doesn’t connect for me the way it used to, maybe I just need to do a run through of his discography idk

DBR is a personal top 10 album. Wish he continued to switch up his voice like he did on all the tracks

Skyfall made me a Travis fan

It’s not super innovative or anything but does have some weird/unique moments

It’s closer to the more original stuff he was doing before Astroworld

Sirens is genuinely one of his best songs and has some of the coolest production in his whole career

Utopia was pretty alright for me back when it dropped, i fw Travis actually rapping more on that album

But for whatever reason i barely give a f*** about that album anymore, it kinda doesn't hit the same as e.g. DBR (which is the most enjoyable project of Travis for me). Some of the cuts still occasionally get in rotation though.

Jackboys 2 meanwhile is probably the most forgettable s*** i've ever heard ngl lol (YoungBoy feature hard though)
