i don’t envy any artist in these type scenes trying to navigate this sort of situation as well as releasing music to fan appeasement

lol exactly ug fans are so fickle and will never be happy cus they don't even know what they actually want since it's purely conditional enjoyment anyway. I like that he just keeps making big moves and never feels the need to try and appeal to them
