I wanted every single sentence to be voluptuous and drenched in imagery. I wasn’t going for simplicity. I was following my proclivity and tendency to over-voluptuise words for what a song can contain ... I wanted it to be extremely overgrown, image to image to image to image.

That's what sticks out for me with this record - Elias at his freest.
