So for those not from the area, this is known as Eat Street. It's an area that was much more up and coming about a decade ago, COVID and George Floyd caused a lot to close, but it's been clawing its way back thanks to all of the local businesses. I know that stretch well. Cheapo's has been a favorite since I was in high school, and in recent years when I've visited my friend in the area we always make it out to Pimento for some of my favorite jerk chicken in town and Icehouse for drinks especially in the summer on the patio.
I'm just at a loss man. I don't know what to say other than thinking of the things I love about Minneapolis and trying to keep the people that make the area so beautiful in my heart.

Yall know Erica Kirk and a mad amount of ICE agents were around in a megachurch thats Literally right behind my house. Like if i were to hop my own fence id be in the parking lot.
Theres so many of them staying in at a hotel very closeby.
Yesterday i was in my feelings and raging at work and other nonsense (Just came back from NY) walking with my mother to the grocery store (we are ecuadorian) when this dude was just staring at us from the aisle the entire time.....he had regular civilians clothes looking like he was minding his own business, but as we got what we needed and walked out, i saw he had a bunch of s*** loaded and stuffed in his back pocket.
Im pretty sure that was a ICE agent just posing as a regular citizen? Tf? they even allowed to do this s***? Ive seen them get people here these last few days looking like every day citizens (They looked more mexican than the person they even f***ing detained too)
