You gotta understand. I’ve been seeing them live and hearing the same songs for the past 20 years lol.

It doesnt mean I like them any less, but how many times can I get hype off of big pimpin lol?

Plus, music is way more accessible now, so it’s not like these songs ever went away. I’ve literally been hearing all of these artists for 2 decades.

Seeing them live again in 2026 and beyond just doesn’t hit the same unless it’s new material.

lol this such a narrow point of view of what legacy acts end up doing with their expanded catalogs for a modernized show

throwback sets? B-side shows? album sets? Chris Brown’s “you decide the next song” sets. Deep cut sets like Drake was doing on Blur tour. artist vs artist sets

come on man, you supposed to be a music lover :vlosereave:

Right - If it’s a new element like you listed, I’m here for it!

But if it’s just a greatest hits show? I’m straight.

I’m over it if it’s a basic greatest hits show.

If they do b-sides (like Jay did a few years ago), or add a new element that hasn’t been done, of course I’d be with that.

I just don’t need them performing the Apple Music essentials playlist live lol.

  • i havent seen kanye perform his hits live

i didnt have a job when i was in hs during saint pablo tour

The thing is, I was around in 2010 when he first previewed this on his laptop while out in Hawaii on livestream lol.

I’ve literally been with this song for the past 15 years. I get it lol.

    Amazing song.

But after seeing it live countless times and hearing it over and over, Ijust don’t need to see it again.

Doesn’t take anything away from the song. I’ve just experienced the song on every level.

I was conflicted during that show.

Of course Ye and Drake are 2 of the greatest (not trying to spark a Stan war), but I was more impressed with the novelty of seeing them both on the stage at the same time.

Also, Drake’s music just felt newer - which it was.

Yes - Ye has all time goat songs. We know this.

But Drake would do hits from the last 3-4 years, and then Ye would do something from like 2007 lol. And once again - Ye has timeless music. We love ye. But it just felt like Ye was holding onto old stuff living in the past, while Drake was a little more current.

One again I have to say we love ye. He’s in my top 3-5. I know how sensitive ktt gets when it comes to him lol

look clipse made some of their best music and released it last year. I go to a clipse show today i want to hear let god sort em out. ye is not creating anywhere near some of his best work so again que all of the lights lmao until he comes with that fye

  • Mar 5

I mean I get it but that's just the nature of festivals. In the UK you still have Metallica or whoever headling a rock festival

Yeah I said in one of my posts that if it’s new material I’m here for it. I just don’t want them up there performing the live version of the Apple Music essentials playlist lol

  • DaeHan

    No doubt.

But when I see headlines like Ye is headlining a certain festival or something, I literally don’t care lol. And that’s not because of his antics outside of music. I just don’t need to hear heartless again lol.

Jay could announce a tour tomorrow and I probably wouldn’t go, which is sad because he’s my favorite rapper. I just don’t need to hear Give It 2 Me for the 1000th time.

Put any money on him releasing something new this year

Three times seeing an artist live is the limit for me. Something about the 3rd time closes the chapter for me. Completely agreed with what you are saying, I have no desire to see Ye live again
