i told artist this earlier too
i kinda had a bias going into it because of the issues with pharrell and then a lot of the songs sounded like the foundation/skeletons of other songs he produced for other artists that ive heard multiple times growing up so this wasnt really as refreshing as i wouldve expected
but nah, on songs like little suzy? nah yeah
hell yeahThat’s wild bc I find it to be like one of the purest expressions of the Neptunes sound lol super duper out there still sounds ahead of it’s time
Imo she’s the blueprint for SZA, if that album dropped late 2010’s or this decade it would have been HUGE
