i used to be scared of cod zombies
just play the games and the horror becomes predictable and less scary
see even that would be too much for me
i wish i had played more games growing up, i only recently decided i want to play more games. SH2 was one i’ve been wanting for years
i feel like if i played games growing up, whether it COD or halo or whatever, i would’ve have as much anxiety playing them now
Id just watch someone entertaining play them with a nice cup of hot cocoa then. There's a reason these guys get millions of views.
Can’t lie AW2 got me a few times
The f***ing jump scares man. Got me every single f***ing time. I really do not play horror video games except resident evil, but I had to try Alan wake 2 and it was an experience for sure.
i can legitmately say as someone that gets scared easily and doesnt fw horror at all games like resident evil, silent hill, or dead space legit arent that scary at all
all of which that i did not play until a year ago because of reason above lol
Dead space had my heart racing ngl
I am exactly like this. No horror film scares me, but the agency that horror games gives you makes them terrifying. I’m just watch a play through of re9 right now lol
That's the joy of horror games. Love and hate playing them. But I just remind myself that you're meant to win, no matter how scary or hard it is, the game is ultimately designed to be beaten, and that helps me push through.

People always say this because you can fight back but I call bullshit. The atmosphere and enemies chasing you are still terrifying
You’re gonna tell me re7 isn’t scary? Re8 baby chase isn’t terrifying? Cmon
Never really felt scared playing a Resident Evil game. It has some moments here and there but its not really that frequent where I would actually feel scared to play the game. Silent Hill was actually scary for me to the point where playing it more than a hour per day felt exhausting

that one jumpscare with the spider girl legit got me but the rest of the game nah
Same I be scared
I’d have to play with my best pals there 🙊
honestly, terrible advice, but you have to just send it. I just finished RE7 and I was s***ting at first but then it sorta of wears off even if there are moments. That anxiety is why I kept wanting to play.
RE2 remake is amazing. You gotta do it, and in that game, the best strategy sometimes is to just run away.
felt like this playing tlou/2
Re4 is more of an action game with horror elements
Chainsaw sisters sequence gonna have him petrified
really would love to play RE2 remake someday but i don’t think it’ll happen man
What part are you at
if it triggers your epilepsy id stay away tbh. if you want to push through though playing with other people or in the daylight might make it better
I feel u op sometimes it does feel like
but if the game is good i try to push through it (playing during the day/lights on)
i got resident evil 7 gifted to me when it came out and played like about an hour but was too stressful to play so i ended up watching a lets play about it and told everyone i played it
