What an album

It’s Soul’s absolute peak. He never came close again sadly. Herbert was great though, but CS has this almost mystical quality. Especially in the hiphop landscape of 2012 it immediately stood out.

Control System, Habits & Contradictions, GKMC all in the same year.. no wonder i made a KTT account back in 2013 as a huge TDE stan. Somehow they have one of the best catalogs as far as hiphop record labels go and yet they also never truly reached their full potential, absolutely crazy to ponder
