Lupe was briefly in a crew called the Arista Cats in 2002 when he was with Arista Records. He made a cameo in this music video with some of the other crew members youtu.be/wTfhCClvUvQ
Last week, I just happened to check the Discog site listed in the original thread and there was a seller with a copy of the Arista Cats Vol 1: Spring Massacre CD somewhere in California. I took the opportunity and bought the CD and it just arrived a few hours ago.
The verse that I have isn’t the one that’s labeled under track 9, the Lupe Fiasco Freestyle, because that happens to be this verse on You Me Him & Her that’s been out for a long time. youtu.be/5sDaSawrVMA
