I was doing the highway test and examiner took control of the wheel because I was about to takeover a huge truck to switch lanes. Thought that that was it and I failed. Arrived back at the driving center and he says I pass and I'm like
Had to promise him that id practice more lmao.
I drove without a license for damn near 3 years lmao, highkey the best practice but also high risk I guess

i lost my license two years ago from drinking and driving... then last year I got drunk with this girl and she asked me to drive her car home so I did (wanted to get laid) and we got pulled over.
She had to pay $3000 to get her car outta impound, never paid her back and she still let me hit for 3 months after

That poor instructor that was sitting in the car with you probably damn near went into cardiac arrest
I don't think you're an idiot or trash @op , you just might not be a good fit on the road. There's a lot of people who don't feel comfortable driving. My mom's never went for her license for example.
Here's some tips based off what you f***ed up this time:
1. Fails to signal -- This is a gimme. ALWAYS SIGNAL ON A TURN. Make it a habit to signal when you're changing a direction. This is something that you just have to beat into your brain.
2. Poor steering controls - This can mean a lot of things. Try and practice in a parking lot and see what you're failing on. I'm guessing you're either oversteering or understeering.
youtube.com/watch?v=NAd8KTn-3P4 This video is a great primer, even though it's based in the UK, it can be applied here in the US as well.
3. Fails to adequately observe/use caution -- When you stop at a stop sign, ALWAYS physically turn your head left and right to see if there are any pedestrians or upcoming cars, don't just lock up and look straight ahead.
When you're backing out, look BEHIND you through the rear windshield, around from the side windows, and make double sure there's no one around you. Make your movements exaggerated so the instructor knows you're taking it seriously.
4. Unfamiliar with controls -- Study on what your car does. Check the manual, and see what each mechanic of the vehicle does. Know how to put your seat forward, backwards, how to angle it. Know where your emergency brake is. Know how to turn the wipers on. Know how to adjust your mirrors.
Assuming this isn’t a troll thread, I would suggest you hold off on trying again until you got everything down. I understand failing once, MAYBE twice but 7 times b? Did you even try?
