There are things that you should be able to take calculated risks on, but it shouldn’t set you back no matter what because you had s***ty RNG because your parents had s***ty RNG and so on and so forth.
Everyone wants to work dude, or at least contribute. The problem is some people benefit way too much for exploiting other people’s situations. When you give someone no options, and their only choice is to either stay the same with no marginal improvements, or at some point, take a risk and it potentially be disastrous, imo that’s an issue that needs to be addressed.

I understand your point genuinely I do and like I said earlier in a vacuum and on paper I agree with it.
But realistically why should a lender give you an interest free loan with no incentive for them.
Let’s more this away from theoretically and how this can be implemented in the real world.

But yeah, economic mobility is largely a myth. anyone you see going from lower to upper is always going to be an exception, not a rule. same s*** why i say this isn't an issue of education. it is a choice to structure things that way, and why do we do it? so the system reproduces itself. if education is the great equalizer in itself, then should it matter what you get educated in? no. but, everytime you see a college student come out with debt and not so good job prospects, you have people telling them they have a useless degree. so what should they do? study business, finance, law etc., then get a nice corporate job, entrench themselves within the status quo.

i think the forum needs to give @Synopsis a chance to long hard look at his cishet privilege and inability to recognize the needs of queer folks.
