I don't know if I'd agree there. Capitalism in a lot of ways gives way more people the option for social mobility hence why so many immigrants come here for a better life and can turn their families around within 1 or 2 generations. Asian, indian and Nigerian immigrants or their children are amongst the most successful people in the whole country. At one point I think asians were actually the lowest earning group of people too so the mobility is there.
Capitalism isn't a perfect system and has its inherent flaws that can definitely be argued but other systems don't necessarily give you much more mobility imo, they theoretically raise the standard of living for the bottom class.

Its become more about the fact that you have to pay to borrow money is increasing the advantage for those who have money to lend (rich) and decreasing for those that need to borrow
