    my friend told me theres a scenario or way where they dont even have to buyback the stocks if it gets squeezed

    they can just wait until this s*** bleeds dry and vast majority sells and moves on....because its full of casuals trying to make an easy buck. not saying thats you, but a lot of arm chair investors are going for a quick dollar

    this is essentially happening with bitcoin right now. institutional investors are manipulating the market by trying to liquidate other investors, but what this is doing at the same time is flushing out the paperhands in the whole market who invested for a quick buck. this correction was needed for a while

    I have 20k in amc. If amc goes nuts because shorts must be covered and hits in hundreds I would think about it.

    When do you plan on selling your amc?

    I’d pull out and retire if it hit anywhere between 500-1000

    Between that and what I made off doge plus the growth funds I’ve been contributing to since I was 18.

    What I’m not getting is how you think you can retire off of $500k to $1M when you are, what I assume, in your mid twenties.

    I’m 30. I have had it planned to retire at 40 without the doge and amc payoffs. Doge has kind of pushed it up to 35 (bought at less than a penny and cashed out at .75) and amc could push it even further.

    Again it’s mostly those growth funds I’ve been throwing money into for over a decade. Started a business at 22 and it’s been a lot better financially than I anticipated. I also have no kids and have a house and both cars paid off.

    My wife is on the exact same path as well so it’s all doubled.

    However I will 100% be a rich man when the squeeze happens in the next 60 days

    the short squeeze was supposed to initially happen 5 months ago
