They rarely have any actual talks about s*** too anymore & barely have any theories & trend talks etc. Its all about "HOLD FOREVER" or "lets all be re'tards n throw money at this thing just cause".

Theyre trying to clean it up with different modes (like there is a button to push that says "meme-less mode" ๐Ÿ’€), but its a mess & now full of hype. I was even ahead on AMC before them from my own basic research n theorizing in feb/march, which tells u theyre not a leader anymore but a follower overall filled with too many hyped up new booties.

I still use them just to see general talk & potential buy ins outside of hype, but i def use other pages n other sites to compare n look into now. If theyre the only or main one hyping something up (like that Nokia s*** i still dont understand), then i know its just a bunch of air.

Sucks too cuz i feel bad for the vets there. All serious talk n goal/market planning gets buried & meme'd on lol.

What other pages and sites are you using fam

Why is everything down today? AMC plus a bunch of other s*** like other hedges n "legit" things ๐Ÿค”

Everything i looked at is down by like 2 to 5 percent from yesterday ๐Ÿง

I think because of the inflation talk

Do you have an estimation of how long this downswing will last? Learning all this on the fly, trying to absorb knowledge from people who've dabbled in investing longer than me

I'm not an expert man but I assume this will be better next week. They're shorting the ever living f*** out of these stocks today. And probably will tomorrow too because options expire.

Risk manage carefully. If it becomes too much, get out. Just because I believe it'll squeeze doesn't mean you have To.

Understood brother. I was asking to get a sense of the trends and forces I should be anticipating/looking out for since the Hedgers are doubling down on their short strategy. I'm not necessarily moving on any particular thing right away, just trying to understand the process better so I have a more informed position.

I gotcha man. I believe we're just gonna have a rough end of the week tbh. If it reverses course I'll celebrate but If they're gonna short this stock so aggressively I can't imagine it stopping after half a day of trading. If you wanna push people out you gotta go low.

Hopefully they don't have much gas left, but we need to realize these squeezes will end their companies. They got alot of firepower.

It has started to reverse course as I'm writing this. I'd still watch carefully. If they leave it alone today I'd be surprised if they don't come.back for another round tomorrow. These mf wanna twist the knife. Whatever kind of s*** they can do to make you stop buying and holding shares.

From what I gather, the squeeze itself is imminent, so hedgers are trying to minimize how bad the blow will be, but it's still coming for sure. Is that correct?

I see that AMC board members sold nearly $4M of their stock this week. Is that a worrisome sign or is it moreso just a pragmatic move to take advantage of the high prices, but not in itself indicative that a tank is about to happen?

So Iโ€™m very content to play the long here

Still at an average of $8 per share

What other pages and sites are you using fam

    For sites:

Tradingview.com (a multi data round the world chart a***ysis site)

    Stockaholics.net (a board forum site)

Kiplinger.com (general website & blog for info and news etc. on stocks, i use others but this is just my "home base" for no specific reason aside from i like the layout lol, but theres hundreds of sites that do the same)

All of Fidelity's (the stock company i chose to go with) articles, theories, advice etc.

Random articles from google to compare n contrast news & whatever on specific stocks (when you google a stock code for chart data there are usually articles that accompany it in the results).

And of course, just googling s*** lol.

    For Reddits:

    R/wallstreetbets

    R/StockMarket

    R/investing

    R/SPACS

    R/finance

    R/dividends

    R/SecurityAnalysis

    R/PennyStocks

So basically i use these to varying degrees to keep up with stuff, see what may be worth investing & see theories, then i do my own research on said company(s) & whatever then decide what im going to do from there.

Wallstreetbets is just a baseline for memes & pumps, but i dont use it for "serious/regular" stock stuff. And if theyre the only one talking about something, then i usually just chalk it up to hype n randos not knowing what theyre talking about.

But yeah, i just crowd source info & trends then add on my own research n logic. I dont really use youtube for this stuff cuz since gamestop a lot of them have fallen into hype s*** (although im sure some channels are good, i just havent looked extensively myself). I mostly use youtube to look out for scams such as scam watch channels like Coffeezilla n whatever. Although im not opposed to youtube for stock stuff, just that personally i havent found one that is good or too my liking yet.

    Hope this helps

Edit: I say it almost all the time, but also remember nothing is certain in stocks & stocks is just "sophisticated/educated" gambling.

Best is to come to ur own conclusions n research on top of info sourcing

Dont give into hype or fomo, & make sure you never invest more than youre ok with spending & losing

I know you're trying to help but steering newbies to this stuff is not investing

People need to know that this is gambling and speculation at best

If you're new start with a book like The Intelligent Investor by Ben Graham

Going in without any understanding or fundamentals does not work in the stock market long term

He asked me for sites, thats it.

I already specify that stocks is just "sophisticated/educated" gambling in almost all my posts.

Articles is not investing nor did i say it was, i didnt give companies to invest in, just sites/places that have info across many different facets.

I disagree, one of the hardest things in stocks is knowing where to even look & just want someone to spell it out.

Lot of people like to fluff it up, but after you know places to look, you can then learn from there & research on your own.

But yeah, he just asked sites i use, which is what i provided.
