RaloI feel that. I did read this arc like a couple years ago and I don't remember much. This is probably better then actually reading the manga just cause of how much text there is. Hard to follow that s***
Yup, I started to read it and just found it unbearable, especially the chapters right before the most recent hiatus. Like I missed that the 3 mafia families aboard the ship are the king's children as well, but because they were birthed by mistresses they aren't considered princes. Really interesting stuff in this arc.

i stopped watching this in like szn 2 i think cuz i found out that it had stopped for damn near a decade. glad to hear the head creative influence is feeling better and drawing story boards again.
s*** is wonderful considering how many sad stories there are about manga writers/artists out there. def about to get back into it

Also Hisoka dodged her punch and knocked her ass out, completely avoiding her ability which would have given us complete confirmation that he is really Hisoka. I don't think Togashi did that just because Hisoka is strong.

He's looking to the side, so we can't get a sure tell, but the big eyes were the clue back then. I think they're definitely working together and things aren't as straightforward as being pictured.
Forgot to reply to this, but you bringing up illumi insisting on staying in tier 3 is good evidence, so for now i guess that theory is still on the table. Although i wonder what their deal is, hisoka paid illumi to hunt him so i have no idea how they're keeping in contact, it would be against that whole idea, unless the contract was broken offscreen and we dont know yet

The main thing going against this theory for me would be Kalluto's existence and that she is a member, why would Illumi put her in harms way

Kite's a great character.
Kinda wish the anime had introduced him in the first episode of the story (similarly to the manga). It would have made his appearance at the beginning of Chimera Ant Arc more impactful.

Crazy that for like 40 chapters everyone in the ship was wondering how would hisoka camouflage himself considering his Bungee gum powers when this f\*\*\*ing dude just shows up looking like his normal self only with hair down and no makeup lmfaoooo they made hisoka look like a stealthy tactician that boy only wants some action

Togashi had us f***ing fooled man he got me thinking for a second the spiders not bout to f\*\*\* s\*\*\* up. Honestly confusingly enough in this new strange environment I wasnt really sure how strong the people on the ship are but now im more leaning into the direction spiders and zodiacs for sure the strongest. Hunters are in a different league and im sure Togashi will make that clear again
