yeah i commend him for the dedication and the amount of pages he's gotten done since starting up again but i just dont think his body can handle it just like with david lynch, its sad to see medical issues getting in between an artist and their form of expression

Hes working currently on the 17th chapter of the new batch but go off i guess🙄

He really should let his assistants do more work. With the amount of chapters he's done, and if it goes to a weekly format, he gives himself around like 20 weeks to lessen the work load to make chapters on a more consistent basis with more of his involvement.

Only problem is togashi wants to do it all himself.

He was working past 10 last time too and it’s about to come out 2 years later

Last time he worked on 12 chapters, 10 of which were the ones we got. This time hes on 17, so i think we can reasonably get 20 chapters, which would be around the amount of one piece or chainsaw man chapters a year

There's nothing wrong with an artist being jealous of his own work!!!
And assistants already help a ton, togashi only does storyboards, character art and i think ballons, assistants do everything else like background art which the most taxing and time consuming part anyway

It's more that he has bad back problems related to trying to draw, so he could just take that load off and we'd have less hiatuses

Hopefully this isnt a translation error, but it seems togashi really has gotten better and has also found one of the main culprits behind his back pain. That explains the pacing he was in recently. Overall very good news and im happy for him

The reason he already put out the scrapped ending and says if he doesn’t finish it it becomes the real ending, is because he is NEVER giving this series to his assistants after all this time
