no, climate change is obviously real and bad but i also recognize that pride and despair are, as said by aquinas, very similiar. And are motivated by the same desire to play God. this echoes in the doomer mindset which seemingly has a total lack of humility of the fact that even the wisest among us do not know what is to come or how things will play out
not to mention if any these doomer cucks genuinely believed the end times were coming (as people always have thought, awfully convenient it would happen just as im around!!) they'd be preparing instead of wallowing in it online. put your money where your mouth is!
instead its just another personality accessory for the already unhappy. an unconscious transmutation of anxiety over nihilism into an identity-creating attachment to an external concept which functions as the "rational" vehicle of expression for their fundamental despair
tldr: online climate change obsession is cringe and bluepilled and i can box up any soyientist
