He’s never mentioned it at all lol he even showed so much love to JIK and kept the era going on mad long. It’s like he dropped Ye and only cared about Ghost Town lmao
You can't really tell what that's indicative of though. Like sure the JIK era lasted longer, we got videos for it and everything, but I think a large reason why the era feels much longer is because the Christian-centric aesthetic and attitude never really faltered. It remained present and strong all throughout the making of DONDA. But the JIK era itself I feel ended a little over a month after the album came out. Then he moved onto God's Country, etc.
It's still way longer than the Ye era lasted, but he needed to make 3 more albums after his own dropped. I think it's likely that there just wasn't enough time to extend the era for that specific album.
Maybe you can say that him pivoting so hard to Yandhi just a couple of months later is proof that he wasn't satisfied with the album but idk, it's Ye. For the past 4-5 albums there's always been a direct pivot to something new after an album drops, whether he announces it publicly or not.
He forced her to say her opinion then interrupted her to tell her he’s gonna solve it with a hat lmfao
Does anyone have a link to that 2.5 hour documentary that recently leaked??? Just saw that it got removed from Vimeo but I never got the chance to finish it

He really thought he was going to get assassinated for wearing the hat like no joke. That is what I thought

the last thing you said about Yandhi is exactly why I feel like that tbh
there's a sample in FML DJDS version I just can't pin point the name of the song
Sounds like the beat switch in CAN U BE
OH WAIT WTF I JUST REALIZED THIS IS RYDER RIPPS LMFAO
The loser looking bro?
“There’s Jared Kushner on the phone who wants to speak to you”
“Okay that’s fine”
The caption:
“On the Phone: Derek??”
This documentary is a comedy
“Yo Roc, you’re now the head of security”
On the phone: Roc, Head of Security
Roc, Head of Security: “You said what?”
I’m losing it lmfao

But what about TLOP to TG16?
or Yeezus to Yeezus 2? (didn't know about it publicly but we now know he went right back to working on new music after it released)
There's a few other examples as well.
I think the genesis of Yandhi doesn't come from him being upset with Ye, but rather him finding inspiration from being back in Chicago
"You guys want to see my presentation for the president?"
5 minutes later:
"Yall think you got mother in laws? I GOT THE MOTHER IN LAW OF ALL MOTHER IN LAWS. AND IT WAS JUST. LET ME TELL YOU WHAT HAPPENED IT'S LIKE- "

That’s where all of it stems from lol I bet they lowkey all wanted to vote for Trump too
Yeezus -> Yeezus 2
TLOP -> TG16
Ye -> Yandhi
JIK -> JIIK/God's Country
Donda -> Donda 2
He always does this
Never forget how he already previewed God Breathed On This at one of the listening parties for JIK

In Chicago on that radio interview he was saying how unique and awesome he thought All Mine was but he was disappointed it didn’t get played much on the radio in Chicago, very inconsistent
