aLIENP4K is weird, many of their reviews aren't even dissecting the music but rather revolve around the artist, gossip or pseudo intellectual gibberish that is absolutely meaningless.

or maybe I'm thinking too much about it and it's just a lazy cover

Most likely. Which still makes no sense to me as music was the only thing given to us. One would think that would be the only thing people should focus on, but here we are and people are complaining about a blank space as the album cover.
