10/10. Production and writing is just unbelievable. Didn’t think it was possible but this is an even bigger progression than BTI to AML was. This s*** is almost like if Frank and Ye did a joint album.
Glad he kept Feels Like Summer. That video drop is an underrated moment because it’s in the shadow of This is America but that brought hip hop fans together in a crazy time and the song is great. The part of the movie where Summer acoustic plays on the radio and it shows people hearing it, and how it almost mirrored the way we were all watching the video, was one of the most powerful moments that I’ve ever experienced in music. Glad I have an album to go with that now. Donald’s progression as an artist aligned with a time where he happens to be a great voice for the times and this album cements that. Best album since Blond
