That’d pay out around 4-5million a year depending on how much money universal makes.
Easy 4-5 million a year.
Especially if you can do a couple of ig posts to promote a UMG artist, or a remix to make one them have a big year.
Like you said he JUST got a 500 million deal so I imagine he’d have been invested for quite some time and now he can afford more shares.
Also I’d imagine he has access to better stock options than a regular person since he signed a deal with them.
Not too far fetched to say he has ownership in UMG. Because I can have ownership in UMG.

I think the internet will allow for more true independence in our lifetime. We are on our way there compared to the 90s and stuff. A lot of this stuff is like a two steps forward one step back kinda thing

The whole beef has to do with Drake’s opps/former rapper friends finding out that Drake has some ownership of their music and they’re turning on him for it
It’s probably why J.Cole apologized at Dreamville Fest cuz maybe he caught wind of what the beef was about and didn’t want any part of it
